For your specific renovation projects, we can quote on a “package” basis, which usually represents a great saving on the hourly rate charged by other architects.

A package may include some or all of the following elements:

• we first arrange an initial visit by one or both consultants to establish your requirements, or brief. This visit usually lasts one to one-and-a-half hours, and is invoiced at our hourly rate if potential solutions have already been discussed in details
   
• following this, you receive a letter summarising your brief and a quotation which gives you the extent and cost of our work before we start
   
• once we have your approval to go ahead, an in-depth inspection will be conducted; "before" photos and measurements are usually taken at that time
   
• a thorough analysis of the issues, from which the consultants develop one or several conceptual designs, which are usually presented to you for review and approval
   
• architectural drawings to scale showing the proposed designs
   
• final drawings to Development Applications (DA) and/or Construction Certificate (CC) standard specifications for submission to your local Council
   
• a matrix representing the selected materials and finishes with budget estimates and recommended suppliers
   
• a final consultation to present the above documents and materials to you
